Nick: 8 days new

Did this boy NOT want to sleep for me or what?! He just wanted to be held and fed. I would have loved to just sat there and hold him all day...but I had to get back to my two crazies back home! He sure is a cutie and I guess he just didn't want to miss out on anything! Enjoy this sweet baby Nicolas! oh and don't miss out on the crazy talent he has of bending his toes over!! Holy smokes I've never seen anyone bend their toes like that! :)

Baby Mathison: March 2014

Photographing a newborn in a hospital has been one of my dreams for a while now...and I had the privilege of photographing my newest Nephew! LOVE HIM! Can't wait to snuggle him some more...I didn't really get the chance to do it much at the hospital, between my husband and three year old who didn't want to share and this one wanting to eat. :) I think next time I'll go by myself! :) Is that too selfish of me?! HA     ENJOY

Bonnie Newborn: March 2014

This sweet little girl did NOT want to sleep for me ONE minute, maybe it's because her favorite Aunt Rachelle was there and she didn't want to miss any of it....HA
...or maybe it was because she is a newborn and newborns don't always do what we want them to do...especially at night when you're a new mom and all you want is for your sweet baby whom you love with all your heart to SLEEP so you too could get some sleep! :)
But don't worry all you first time moms, as my Grandma Adams would say, things come to pass not to stay! Before you know it your sweet baby will be one, and sleeping through the night like a CHAMP! :) ...and you'll still be tired because that little one is now more energetic than EVER...and you get completely exhausted.
So enjoy the sweet pictures you capture of them as precious newborns, they change all too quickly, and you'll be so grateful for all those pictures you've taken!

Leeper Newborn: June 2012

June was my month for Newborns in 2012! I LOVED it! This little guy was a joy to photograph! I got peed on a COUPLE times...(first time ever while photographing). He did NOT want to sleep either, well that is until we were DONE taking pictures! :) So glad I had the opportunity to meet this little family! This baby boy has a set of twin big sisters AND a big brother, and they were all well behaved! Beautiful Family!

I almost didn't get to take this sweet little newborn's pictures, due to complications with my own pregnancy....but I am so glad things worked out! What a sweet little girl!

Sweet Little Ainsley

I had to opportunity to take little Ainsley's pictures a little over a week ago! I LOVE taking newborn pictures...the sessions take quite a bit longer than any other session, but they are still so much fun!
Normally I take newborn pictures 5-10 days after they are born, (they tend to sleep a lot more those first few days of life), this little girl however was a month old and sure did not want to cooperate at the beginning, it wasn't until the last 30 minutes of the shoot that she decided to sleep and let me get some good shots of her. Enjoy the pictures!

Remember Rachel's Maternity pictures from an earlier post, well her little guy has ARRIVED! They didn't find out what they were having so it was a surprise to everyone when he was born! However, if you ask his older brother, he knew that 'his baby' was a BOY from the very beginning.
Newborn photo shoots usually take a little longer than others, taking breaks to feed, change, cuddle, etc..with the baby, BUT, they are so enjoyable! Little babies are so precious and I was so grateful for the opportunity I had to capture the newness of my little nephew! Congratulations Rach! He is ADORABLE!

This litte one was only a week old when I was able to capture her newness! I loved every minute. This was my first newborn shoot and I wasn't quite sure what to expact. I learned a lot from this session and am thankful to her momma for letting me learn with her new little one! She sure is a cutie!
